What is it about closets at 6:30 in the morning? They hide their treasures behind a haze of Nope, just wore the blouse that goes with that skirt, and Is every suit I own dark gray?, behind Not today, way too bloated and Aargh, the dry cleaner! I knew I was forgetting something.

I do house calls. Really. I love them. This is one of my favorites because we’re all too close to our own lives. You look at all of those lovely things in your closet but you default to this shrug with that dress, that scarf with this outfit. You know they work. They’re safe.
