Born in Wilmington, Delaware, and raised in Columbia, Maryland, Mia is the proud mother of two daughters. Mia credits her vibrant personality and fashion industry savvy to her Mother, a beauty industry legend and former platform artist for Johnson Products, and her sense of style and creative energy to her father, a self-taught artist well-known as a great dresser. While at the Academy of Art University, Mia received the 2010 Portfolio Grant Award.
